anda mandala = go circle

Make a stop motion mandala with us. Think of a mandala as a microcosm of the macrocosm, a visceral map of the universe from the human perspective. Arrange objects symmetrically to create organic, circular formations. Move the objects, take a picture, move them again, snap another, and repeat ad infinitum.

Psychoanalyst Carl Jung proposed that mandalas represent our unconscious and help us to center and unify our selves. He describes them as "a synthesis of distinctive elements in a unified scheme representing the basic nature of existence." He also stated that, "mandalas have an intuitive, irrational character and [serve] the purpose of reducing confusion to order."
